On January 25, the School of Management at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) successfully held the "HIT MPA High-Quality Development Alumni Symposium." Twenty-one alumni representatives from the classes of 2001 to 2021, serving as MPA alumni liaisons, returned to HITr. Attending the symposium were Professor Wang Jian, Dean of the School of Economics and Management, Professor Liu Luning, Vice Dean, and Professor Mai Qiang, Academic Director of the MPA Education Center. The symposium was attended by Professor Wang Jian, Dean of the School of Management; Professor Liu Luning, Associate Dean; and Professor Mai Qiang, Director of the MPA Education Center.
Wang Jian extended a warm welcome and conveyed greetings to alumni who have long supported the development of the school. After carefully listening to the alumni's suggestions and opinions on the high-quality development of the MPA program, he stated that the MPA program at the School of Management has always played an important role in cultivating public management talents. He hoped that through this symposium, with the MPA alumni liaisons as key connectors, the entire MPA alumni community could be linked together to explore new models of MPA education, establish a post-MPA education and lifelong learning mechanism for MPA alumni, and enable MPA alumni to continuously achieve self-improvement and resource sharing on the HIT platform, thereby making greater contributions to regional social and economic development.
To further unite the alumni, maintain the MPA alumni network platform, and to promote the high-quality development of HIT's MPA education, the school held a ceremony to present appointment letters to 21 alumni from the classes of 2001 to 2021, and became HIT MPA alumni liaisons.
During the symposium, Professor Mai Qiang introduced the development of the HIT MPA program and present the achievements of HIT's MPA education in recent years. In terms of curriculum construction, faculty strength, teaching outcomes. and engaged in an in-depth discussion on the high-quality development of the MPA program.
